The Role:
Managing the Service Engineers, the main purpose of the role is to liaise with customers, organise and log routine inspections and emergency call-outs in the most time efficient, cost effective manner answering the phone & general office duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Taking inbound calls from customers that require a site attendance
  • Logging of these call-outs/service requests
  • Arranging call-outs for Engineers
  • Co-ordinating engineer service visits and repairs : ensuring maximum efficiency in terms of time and distance
  • Raising appropriate paperwork for the Engineers
  • Liaison with the customers to ensure that the work has been completed on time and to a satisfactory level
  • Raising purchase orders with 3rd party vendors
  • Updating status of inspections/callouts
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports for management
  • Monitoring service reporting
  • Carrying out quotations and invoicing
  • Following through on project tenders
  • Dealing with website enquires for service contracts
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties as necessary
  • Following up outstanding overdue payments
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties as necessary

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with accuracy and clarity both verbally and in writing
  • Passionate, professional with a “will do : can do” attitude
  • Analytical with exceptional attention to detail
  • Team Player
  • Aptitude for understanding and solving problems
  • Possess the ability to multi-task and think outside of the box
  • Computer skills essential working with Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative. 
  • Experience gained from working within the lift industry or a similar but certainly it will need to be service-based business
