Due to an internal promotion, one of the biggest brands in the rapidly expanding company’s portfolio, is looking for an ambitious, articulate, highly motivated and talented sales account manager to join the magazine\’s sales team.

The successful candidate will initially sell classified and recruitment advertising, with responsibility for managing an established client roster and developing new business.

The right applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
 

  • An ability to confidently sell print and digital advertising solutions to clients and manage the accounts, advising on the right activity for them, and developing new business to maximise revenues
  • A proven track record in recruitment media sales would be preferable but not essential. Ideally you will have worked on a jobsite or similar environment
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team. The recruitment team currently consists of a Group Sales Manager but as you develop you will take on more responsibility for running of sister titles which means there is room to grow within this role.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong reporting, organisational and administrative skills and an excellent eye for detail
  • Confident and strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales deals
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • A target-driven approach
  • An ability to think outside the box and embrace new ideas

This role would be ideally suited to someone looking to build a career in media sales or an individual who wants to further develop their sales career by joining one of the UK’s most dynamic publishing businesses.
